Nigerian forward Gift Orban has sealed a season-long loan move to Turkish Süper Lig newcomers Amed SK from Hoffenheim as he looks to reignite his career in Turkey.

The loan deal runs until 2027 and includes an option for Amed SK to sign the striker permanently at the end of the 2026/27 campaign. According to reports from Get German Football News, the clause could automatically become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met, including the club successfully retaining its top-flight status this season.

Orban arrives in Turkey after spending last season on loan at Hellas Verona. The 23-year-old made 28 appearances for the Italian club, scoring seven goals and contributing three assists during the campaign. Despite his efforts in front of goal, Verona were unable to avoid relegation.

The move represents Orban’s second loan spell since joining Hoffenheim from Olympique Lyonnais in a €9 million transfer at the start of 2025. The Nigerian striker will now be hoping to make an immediate impact at Amed SK and establish himself as a key player in the Turkish top division.
