Akliouche, Monaco star set to sign for PSG

By Hotepo Setonyon

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Monaco to sign French international Maghnes Akliouche for a fee of €50m. The player, who can play both as an attacking midfielder and a right winger, is set to sign a 5-year contract with PSG.

The 24-year-old player, who joined the AS Monaco academy in 2017 at age 15 and made his professional debut at his boyhood club Monaco in 2022, leaves his boyhood club with 51 goal involvements in 139 appearances.

Several clubs showed interest in signing the player, such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Tottenham, and AC Milan. It was PSG who came out on top, however, sealing the deal after months of negotiations with Monaco.

Akliouche will be a major boost for PSG’s attack after the departures of Kang-In Lee to Atletico Madrid for €40 million, Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan for € 74 million, and Kolo Muani to Juventus.
